Who We Are
Imion Foundation is a non-profit, Christian development organization. The idea for the Imion Foundation was conceived in 2003 by Yahaya Enakhimion, after the passing of his father Mustapha Enakhimion a native of Edo-State in Nigeria. Compelled by the giving legacy of his father the Imion Foundation was founded in February 2008.
Africa faces challenges that are very complex and divergent. Imion Foundation is committed to playing a part in solving poverty in Africa by assisting Africans to grow professionally and equipping them with the tools, skills, networks and financing required for this task. Education is one of the main keys to success in any society. So with the help of parents, educators, policymakers, philanthropists, professionals, volunteers and other organizations we are creating opportunities for advancement in education for the youth of Africa.
On the ground level we plan to meet our goals through: workshops; recognition programs; technology; mentoring; scholarships; and conferences.
Our commitment is focused on vocational training. This will equip Africans who receive aid with the tools to make a living and care for their families within a short period.
Also, we pray that along the way, people will see the love Christ has for us all.
